Hiya..

Just recently purchased the New Griffen 1.2 turbo 21 plate New shape..

For some reason When the car is on And I need to turn the radio off, you can't... I've read through the manual but no reference to this...

I had the last Griffen old shape and that one you could turn the radio off and it showed the time only..

Is this a system fault or the new norm?..

Need to know as my car is used for driving lessons & tests..

I think it's the new norm. My new Corsa is the same. All it will do when driving is mute, it will not switch off. In the settings though you can put the screen on blank.
(dark mode).

Hi Fellow owners of the Corsa F
To switch off the radio usb etc and have a black screen with no sound.
Press the middle round button for a few seconds, this pauses music, now notice that the screen has changed back to have the settings at the top, press settings gear wheel and select dark mode. Your screen is now black with no sound.
