Had this car for a month now.
First impressions are good except for the infotainment system which is awful. Far too complicated & keep getting emails from Vauxhall telling me to pair my phone with the car in the My Vauxhall app. Phone already paired with phone for Bluetooth phone calls etc but this is not enough apparantly . Anyone got any ideas what they do. Dealer doesn't know & told to contact Vauxhall customer services. They seem useless & no help whatsoever. Car help system tells me to go to a pair button that doesn't exist. Totally lost.
Corsa 2024 Ultimate Auto
Another email from Vauxhall telling me to complete my journey. Lost, so I eventually got through to V Connected Services team. He told me that I must complete 3 drives of at least 20 minutes with My Vauxhall app connected to car system by USB
Don't hold much hope but trying it. Don't usually use My Vauxhall in car as its so S....LOW
Anyone experienced anything similar?
Another problem it that I keep getting flashed by oncoming cars at night as if I am dazzling them. As headlight dipping automatic what can I do. Dealer told me to adjust with load button but I don't have one all automatic. Wonder if the car was setup correctly in the first place.

Had it a year now. One thing I did learn, which the dealer had not a clue, was that to connect the phone to the car system you don't use bluetooth ( that's only for phone calls). What you need is a 5 GHz wifi signal, my old phone only had 2.4 GHz signal & therefore would not connect without a cable. Android Auto now works fine wirelessly.
Just wonder WHY that is not in the handbook. My job used to be checking instruction manuals. I wouldn't give Vauxhall 1/10

Hello. Could you please help me understand a bit more about your above post concerning 5 GHz wi-fi connection? Are you referring to using your mobile phone as a wi-fi hotspot (on 5GHz band) and then using your car built-in wi-fi to connect to the internet via your phone hotspot? What are the advantages of connection your car to the internet this way as opposed to using android auto/car play ?
Does it make any difference to the way the MyVauxhall app behaves?
Many thanks

Your phone supports 5 GHz. It was introduced at least 15 years ago to smartphones.aer0 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 2:26 pm Had it a year now.
