Been looking at purchasing a Corsa F.
Just noticed something weird.
If the car has 5 gears then the reverse gear is bottom right where the 6th gear normally is.
If the car has 6 gears then the reverse gear is in the normal top left position.
I've been driving Vauxhall's for 25 years and the reverse gear has always in the top left position.
Position of the reverse gear.
This makes me sick to see! Luckily, mine is a six speed so I have it on the far upper left.
However, since the all new Corsa is PSA owned, rather than general motors, it has adopted the Citroen design which unfortunately suffers from the horrendous reverse gear position.
Your 25 years of experience means nothing in the new age of Vauxhall. It's all Peugeot and Citroen going forward!
Edit: Spelling
