Park Assist System Fault

Hi all,

I've just recently bought a Corsa F, while the car is in one of the forward gears no warnings are present but my parking sensors don't beep if I'm pulling forward into a parking space. As soon as the car is put into reverse I get the Park Assist System Fault warning which stays in until the engine is restarted. At all times the Park assist button is illuminated as if its switched off and does nothing if you push the button. Any help would be appreciated.

We have exactly the same issue with our 70 plate Elite and just wondering if you ever found the issue and fixed?

Otherwise if anyone else has an ideas or can I do any checks myself?
