Stop/Start Battery Replacement

I've seen mixed opinions on replacing the EFB/AGM battery, so hopefully somebody with experience can confirm.

It's a 2021 1.2L with an EFB battery that seems to be having issues. I have a compatible replacement AGM battery, but need to know if the batteries need to be registered on these models when being replaced, or if I can just swap it over without the need of a diagnostic tool.
